We love to spend time with our friends in St. Simon's and this weekend is special for many of us as we participate in the Renewal Mission, held annually during this time of year. The theme of this year's conference is "Catching Fish in the 21st Century".
We're loading up the old gray van at 6:30pm tonight to head over the Second Narrows Bridge. Since we moved to a morning service and have focused our time with Immanuel Church in the Rio Theater we have missed being with our friends at St. Simon's so we're anxious to chat and do all the other good things that come with being together as a family. The worship and the speakers will be the "icing on the cake" as we listen along for new ways to engage our friends who don't yet know how much they are loved by God, their creator.
